Kisco Senior Living Wins Honors in California Excellence

The California Awards for Performance Excellence (CAPE) has announced its 2003 award winners for excellence in the workplace. For the second year in a row, Kisco Senior Living based in Carlsbad, captured honors with the Bronze-level award in this statewide competition. Kisco Senior Living is a privately-held senior housing provider of independent and assisted living. Founded in 1990, Kisco currently operates 23 senior housing properties, representing more than 3,500 units in California, Nevada, Georgia, Florida, Virginia, and North Carolina.

The CAPE program recognizes companies, government agencies, educational institutions, healthcare facilities, and non-profit organizations that have addressed the Malcolm Baldrige Award criteria and completed a thorough review and evaluation of their application. CAPE is administered by the California Council for Excellence, a non-profit organization based in San Diego dedicated to helping California companies and public sector agencies achieve world-class results in the workplace.
